The process of designing new outdoor spaces and installing them, sometimes takes years.  But, the transformations can be very instantaneous.  First done is the site design plans… then the planting plans… then the buildout.  After that, there is some minimal maintenance… watering is the most important.    After a year or so, native landscapes are established and need little in the way of ongoing watering except during drought.  Maintenance in the first few years involves weeding, and pruning, yet after that, little maintenance is required.  In about five years…  the landscape begins it’s mature stage.
