Potomac Peace Northern Neck, VA
In real estate, location is everything, and this location is sublime. Well, that is, except for the invasive phragmite grass which blocked the view of the river from the house, and the increasing pounding of the waves upon the unprotected shoreline. This shoreline restoration project, four years in the making, and currently still under construction, first required the eradication of one of the most invasive wetland plant species, followed by the creation of a wetland buffer and a re introduction of native grasses to entice the wildlife back to the salt marsh.
