Tomi Landis

Tomi Landis

After 20 plus years, (but who’s counting), in a single profession, Emmy award winning television producer and executive producer, Tomi Landis, decided to chart a new course. It took three years seeking a Masters’ Degree in Landscape Design with a specialty in sustainable practices, at George Washington University, for her to visualize her second act, Landis Garden Design. Her architect husband, Chris, and his brother, had successfully built a residential design/build firm and had plenty of customers who, after completing their renovation projects, needed a little work on the outside! Landis has designed and built landscapes ranging from urban sustainable gardens, to shoreline restorations. She is also a partner in designing and installing raingardens and bayscapes, for the DDOE’s RiverSmart Homes program.
